2018 Legacy Lightening Youth Camp

 

All Tackle Players, current and first year players (1st grade and going into 8th grade) are invited to participate in the Lightning Youth Full Contact Football Skills Camp.
 
Youth Coaches are encouraged to attend!
Date: July 23, 2018 - July 26, 2018 
(Monday - Thursday) Time 5:30-7:30p.m.
Location: Legacy High School East Fields
 
New Head Coach Corey Heinz will be teaching basic football fundamentals and skills. Heinz brings a great deal of knowledge and excitement to the Legacy football program. His collegiate experience will be invaluable to the camp participants. After high school, Heinz played at the University of Tulsa and then coached for three seasons with the Golden Hurricane before returning to the staff at his prep alma mater. Most recently he was at both Augustana University as a tight ends coach and last season at Missouri Southern State, where he was the offensive coordinator.
 
USAFB Master Trainer Greg Miller and Current Legacy H.S. Coaches & Football Players will also be on hand to provide guidance and mentoring.

Leader of the Pack (Noah Shepard) Will Be Working With Quarterbacks Attending The Lightning Youth Football Camp
 
 
Noah Shepard was a four-year starter at South Dakota. He finished his career as the most decorated passer in Coyotes history with school records in passing yards (8,936), passing touchdowns (77) and total offense (11,133). His 36 rushing touchdowns ranks second in school history. Noah was signed as an undrafted free agent after the 2010 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers.
